The RFID based read write module is used for library management. It can be used for issue/return management of any book with a special tag attached to it. The system can read multiple tags (5x5cm ISO15693) from a distance of at most 30cm from the RFID antenna. Serial interface is available at the controller sub module to connect with any computer as Human Machine Interface for sending commands, receiving data and presenting.

Serial interface is available at the controller sub module to connect with any computer as Human Machine Interface for sending commands, receiving data and presenting.
An external amplifier, designed and developed in house, reads has enhanced the reading range up to 30cm. The system has 2watt peak output power. Anti-collision algorithm has been implemented in the firmware of the controller circuit to read multiple ISO15693 RFID tags at a time. Serial interface is available at the controller sub module to connect with any computer as Human Machine Interface for sending commands, receiving data and presenting.
1 | Supported Protocol | ISO15693 |
2 | Frequency of Operation | 13.56 MHz |
3 | Maximum reading distance | 30cm |
4 | Simultaneous reading Capacity | 16 tags at a time. |
5 | Peak output power | 2 watt. |
6 | Computer Interface | Serial port |
A Standard laboratory with electronics test and fabrication facilities is adequate for fabricating this module.
