ENT DEPARTMENT

ENT Department of the Hospital is accredited by National Board of Examination, New Delhi for operating Diplomat of National Board (DNB) program. Department is having 2 consultants and 3 Residential Medical Officers. And 2 sanctioned seats of Post Gradute Residential Medical Officers.

The department caters to all ENT and Head & Neck related health problems. Microsurgery of the ear (including cochlear implants) and larynx, endoscopic sinus surgeries and Head & Neck surgeries also performed in house with negligible referrals to panel hospitals. The department has state of the art ENT equipments in the OPD as well as the ENT equation theatre. The Audiology set - up is sound proof with all testing equipments including latest audiometers, tympanometers, OAE and BERA screener. The speech laboratory includes diagnostic software, fibreoptic nasolaryngoscopic and digital stroboscopie.

The department along with occupational Dispensary conducts periodic examination for people working in noisy areas to asses and screen for noise Induced Hearing loss and monitors noise at work place. Also all newborns are screened to detect for hearing loss at birth.

A multidisciplinary thyroid clinic is being conducted at the ENT department. Sial endoscope has been acquired in 2012 for better management of benign salivary gland diseases.
