Arsenic Removal from Drinking Water by physicochemical process

Arsenic contamination of Drinking Water has been reported from many parts of the world. In areas where the Drinking Water supply contains unsafe levels of arsenic a simple, cost effective arsenic removal process is the need of the day. The technology provides process for decontamination of water with respect to arsenic using indigenously developed Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane device. The process is adaptable at both domestic and community level. It has capacity of removing arsenic contamination from ground/surface water from a feed concentration of 500 ppb or more to less than 10 ppb. Please note UF membrane device technology is available for transfer separately.
